Young America - we have a problem.
The United States federal government has racked up nearly $8 trillion in debt - debt that you and people your age will have to pay back. In response to this crisis, a group of young students have formed Concerned Youth of America, Inc., a non-profit corporation dedicated to helping educate young people and their parents about this problem and encouraging politicians to be fiscally responsible.

CYA members Yoni Gruskin and Michael Tully joined Concord Coalition Executive Director Robert Bixby in a Q&A session following a screening of the film I.O.U.S.A. at the Philadelphia Film Festival on April 9. I.O.U.S.A., a powerful movie about the perils of our rising national debt, features a scene that highlights CYA‘s fight against the generational inequity caused by rising deficits.
