Members of CYA rallied outside the October 30 Democratic presidential debate at Drexel University. Dressed in prison jumpsuits, they held signs declaring that America‘s youth are now prisoners of the growing national debt. The scene outside the debate hall was lively, with scores of supporters for each candidate holding signs and leading cheers. All of the festivities were broadcast live by MSNBC. CYA has not yet endorsed any candidate. Even with their strictly nonpartisan advocacy for fiscal responsibility, the participants in the CYA rally were met with intrigue and enthusiasm by the entire audience.
